Your questions about the test

How long does the test take? About three minutes: 15 questions, from easiest to hardest. It’s free and no sign-up is required.
Does this test give an official level? No. It’s a guide to know where to pick up, not a certification. For a certificate, each chapter of our course ends with a quiz: score 80% and you get a certificate that can be verified online.
What does it measure? Greetings, pronouns, tones, family, numbers, the market, directions, and a few longer constructions. Everything comes from our course.
What if I’m starting from scratch? Take it anyway: you’ll see what the language looks like. Then read the 4-step method for beginners.

The hardest part is getting started

Whatever your score, one short lesson a day is enough to make progress. As in the course, tones are marked here only when they distinguish two words.
